(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A forum on “duty of Muslim youth” was held yesterday, September 30, in Brussels Belgium. The program was held by the Youth Association of Al-Amal Mosque in Belgium following the evening prayers. Speaking at the forum, Rashid Haddash, lecturer of Islamic sciences and who is in charge of the social section of Islamic-Cultural Center of Belgium said that: “the youth living in non-Islamic communities have a greater responsibility than the other Muslim youth. They not only should try to defend their Islamic identity and religious values, but also should disseminate the noble Islamic principles and teachings.” He called Muslim families to encourage their children to read and memorize Quran’s verses stressing that acting upon Quranic teachings and Hadiths of the holy prophet (PBUH) and teaching the Islamic principles to the children are the best ways to maintain their religious Islamic identity in non-Islamic countries. The forum concluded following speeches provided by some of the youth, questions put forth on the theme and a discussion on the answers./129
